
Jiao-Zhong Gu, PhD, believes everyone should have access to quality care – especially those also using social services in their communities. Dr. Gu founded FEI Systems in 1999 to provide streamlined information technology solutions to help federal and state government agencies better serve these populations. Under Dr. Gu’s leadership, FEI has been awarded mission-critical health IT contracts across the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veteran Affairs, USAID and more. Before founding FEI, Dr. Gu was the lead architect and system analyst for the FAA National Air Safety and Analysis Center for Macfadden and Associates. Dr. Gu has a PhD in industrial engineering, a Master of Science in industrial and management engineering, and a Master of Science in manufacturing engineering.

Craig brings a long history of servant leadership, as well as a wealth of business, consulting and technology management experience to his role as CEO of FEI Systems. For more than 30 years, he has held executive roles in healthcare, technology enabled health services and benefits management solutions companies. As a perennial lover of challenges, Craig brings new and unique solutions to solve clients’ most difficult issues. He is committed to furthering our vision to develop technology solutions that facilitate the barrier-free delivery of health and human services and improve access to care. Originally from Ohio, Craig has degrees in business and decision sciences statistical analysis from Miami University.

Martina has a deep personal interest in quality care delivery in health and human services. Her previous professional experience with Medicaid, managed care, fiscal agents and third-party stakeholders helps to foster valuable partnerships and ensure we are attuned to our clients’ needs. Before joining FEI, Martina was a vice president at Conduent State Healthcare Solutions, where she managed a business portfolio of more than $300 million annually. She also served as COO for Xerox State Healthcare and was responsible for processing eligibility of more than 7.7 million beneficiaries, 300 million annual claims, and $25 billion annually in provider payments.

As our Chief Strategy Officer, Nik leads the team responsible for formulating, communicating and executing long-term corporate strategies, initiatives and growth plans. He and his team work closely with colleagues across the organization to analyze market trends, connect the dots between vision and execution, drive meaningful transformation and position us to remain competitive in an ever-evolving landscape. In more than 15 years with FEI, Nik has demonstrated an unshakeable commitment to our mission, vision and values. Nik earned a Master of Science in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

TJ leads our finance and accounting team in all aspects of financial controls, policies and procedures that affect the fiscal health of our organization. As a strategically focused business partner with more than 20 years of comprehensive finance management experience in IT, he has extensive experience working directly with clients and strategic vendors to deliver the comprehensive technology solutions in the health and human services marketplace. In addition, TJ oversees our talent management efforts ensuring we maintain a strong, capable and engaged workforce. TJ has a Master of Business Administration from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.

As CIO, Joao directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT to ensure the effective, efficient, and secure operation of all corporate IT systems. He is an expert in enterprise architecture, IT operations and security, IT research and development, systems engineering and systems integration. Skilled in compliance and regulatory standards, and has 20 years of experience managing IT teams, and developing and deploying large-scale enterprise-grade capabilities and solutions. Joao has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Coast University. He is an (ISC)2-Certified Information Systems Security Professional, an International Association of Privacy Professionals-Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States and Certified Information Security Manager, an ISACA-Certified Information Security Manager and an EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker.

As FEI’s General Counsel, Scott’s primary responsibility is to mitigate risk, allowing him the opportunity to flex his problem-solving muscles to handle a wide variety of internal and client-related compliance challenges. With a thorough knowledge of the capabilities of our technology solutions as well as an in-depth understanding of our clients’ requirements and limitations in obtaining comprehensive IT platforms, Scott helps us navigate the long journey from initial contact to contract signing. He has worked as in-house counsel for IT companies for close to 10 years and previously worked as an attorney for a large Washington, D.C. law firm. He graduated from Georgetown University with his J.D. in 2003.

We encourage you to coordinate with your manager and your teams to take advantage of the summer schedule.
