Our Blue Compass consent management module is an open-source software application that allows participants to decide what health information they would like to share, and not share, with primary and specialty providers about any treatment for substance use disorders or mental health.
Giving Patients Control of Data Privacy
With the Blue Compass consent management module, patients have the right to control what personal healthcare information is shared (or withheld) within an exchange environment, as it relates to substance use disorder treatment, HIV status and/or any mental health services. The software integrates with a health information exchange or health system’s EHR. Patients provide consent on what sensitive information is shared with the exchange or EHR for access by other providers within the system.
